Dad & Mom came down and made my Fourth of July truly wonderful! They are 2 people in my world that can encourage me more than anyone else. I love my parents. Growing up, the Fourth just wouldn’t have been the same without fireworks. I vividly remember when the neighbors would bring out lawn chairs [...] Recently, Michael and I took a Saturday morning walk which included stopping by an estate sale. Upon inquiring, we found that this ‘junk’ was the property of a little old lady who was still living, yet declining health had forced her to a nursing home. Having lived her entire life in an apartment, there wasn’t [...] Michael and I spent time yesterday on a hike in a nearby forest. We stopped along our trail to enjoy a few of the smaller things in life. We had a great hike!
