We had a delightful weekend with friends & family. Saturday, we had friends from out of town come for a visit. Sunday, Michael’s sister’s family, brother, and a couple of friends came. We were glad for their encouragement!
Monday, Michael came down with something nasty. He’s been out of comission since…and for Michael, that NEVER happens. So, we’ve canceled everything for the week. He’s at the Immediate Care Center now to get some medicine. Hopefully, they’ll be able to give him some good meds that will kick his temperature! I’ve come down with a nasty cold. I’m functioning fine, just worn out!
I can tell I’m back in KY. I never realized how crazy basketball fans are until KY. Indiana’s one thing, but KY’s in a league of it’s own. For the past few hours, my coworkers have bantered back and forth about UK and Louisville– I’m just glad I can and will ALWAYS be neutral (about basketball at least). It’s a little obsessive. Maybe that’s how they feel about the Buckeye’s football- ha!
I got my brackets filled out today, just in the nick of time. I used a die to figure out who to pick. For the most part, i followed what it picked for me. But once I was further down in my picks, I didn’t ALWAYS follow it. I couldn’t have the lowest seed winning, now!
God has been doing some very encouraging things lately–continually reminding us that He never ceases being good.
