Pierson is his dad’s biggest fan. In the picture below, little guy is watching his dad shovel the driveway. Love them!

New Year’s Resolutions:
1. Set monthly goals (and reach them).
2. Be a more organized person (by making lots and lots of lists).
3. Love on my family (through words and demonstration).
4. Be grateful for the blessings I’ve been given (write notes & express gratitude).
5. Be creative.

This month I will:
1. Exercise every day (only 3 skips allowed).
2. Journal/blog at least twice each week.
3. Keep a cleaner cubicle (at work).
4. PURGE more clutter!
5. Make smarter food choices.
6. Make one craft-y/decorative item.

Setting goals wears ya’ out!

We received this OLD Johnny Jump up when Pierson was born. This invention (antique version or not) is the greatest child product that has ever been–it is by far little guy’s very favorite toy! Here’s what how the doorways look in our house quite often…

We’ve gotten our money’s worth out of this thing a thousand times over (never mind the fact that it was FREE). Today, Pierson was literally asking me for it. Okay, it came more in the form of fussiness. The instant I put him in it, he transformed his fussiness into a smile! I consider that a personal request for his favorite toy! WHOOHOO for happy babies!

Snookered

Pierson is 3 months old!

I have a love-hate relationship with computers. What should have taken me 30 minutes to do, has quickly eaten up my entire evening. I should be in bed. I know little guy will call to me sooner than later, yet I am wide awake…or as much as I can be at this stage of life. I should be sleeping, yet I’ll give you a snippet into what has consumed my life for the past several hours (besides fixing computer problems…)

How can I ignore such a sweet, sweet face when those little eyes and chubby rolls clearly call my name? Thanks to you , baby~ I’m snookered (and tired!).
